Where to start???
Evening all.feel like sitting down and typing right now. Besides I cant really talk about what has been going on with work and I Its been a few days since I posted, but I have been working. Most days by time I get home there is so much stuff that needs to get done and dinner that I just donthavent been getting much crafting done. So we are going to break up this post in sections with the pictures of the animals throughout. Trust me it will be boring tonight. Sorry ahead of time.
Knitting News.... I have completely, totally, and honestly do state that I HATE! making I cords. I feel like that I have been knitting on the handles for my Market Square bag for ages now. And I am no where close to being done with the stupid things! I do have a secret project on the needles and if
you are the lucky few that I im all the time then you know what I am making....Shhhhhh dont tell! heehee! Its for Andi for winning my little blogiversary contest.Crocheting news.... No I havent started crocheting anything but I will be here soon. I have a Easter rabbit that I would like to make for Easter. And with it fast approaching I need to get to hooking on it. Plus I would love to make up the sock monkeys too. I got the pattern a few months ago and never made them yet. We will see how much I can get done in the next couple of weeks. I can definitely crochet faster than I can knit.
Kids News..... *picture someone pulling their hair out here* That is how the kids have me feeling here lately. I have about had it with my daughter. She just dont get it, dont turn in homework, dont drive my car. She is up to her old tricks again and I dont know what to do with her. Two weeks in a row she didnt turn in 5
assignments and I know she did some of them. This just totally irks the hell out of me. You would think she would want to drive the car all the time. I am not backing down on this one. Plus she is grounded until further notice. I want them grades back where they are suppose to be! Brandy News...... I am tired and I really cant say why. It mostly deals with work. Hopefully I will hear from a couple of the other places soon. I did get a very nice phone call last night from the lady that did my recertification test. She told me that she got a call from the state about a score that one of her pupils got. Now when she said this I was thinking, "Oh crap I barely passed". But that was not the case. The state was very impressed about this score. This person that got this score, being me, cause this is my blog and why would she tell me about someone elses score. The score was a 99%. I scored a 99% on my written
test for recertification. How awesome is that? I missed one part of a question or I would have gotten 100%. Now they were not trying to break any kind of confidentiality or anything like that, but they were just very impressed and thought she would like to know and pass it on to me. I feel so GREAT about this! Makes me really think seriously about going to college next fall and trying to get into the nurse's program. We will just have to wait and see if I do it or not....Puppy & Kitty News...... Jasmine has been doing really well on her potty training. Yesterday she had no accidents in the house. Today she had a couple but it was partly our fault for not paying attention when she was trying to tell us she needed to go out. Pumpkin is feeling much better after getting his shots and all. Rascal is still not liking Jasmine, but he did let her lay next to him on
the back of the couch tonight. I think in time once Jasmine calms down, Rascal will love her. He is just not like Pumpkin and dont like all the puppy hyperness that Jasmine has going on.Well that is about it for now. Tomorrow I dont have to work and we are going to head up to Rockford for the afternoon. Want to do some yarn shopping and I think we are going to have lunch at the Harley shop up there. Hubby has been wanting to go there for a while now. Course if it was up to the son he would want to head over to Hooters! Boys!!
Have a great night!

Yay! Great job, Brandy!
Hang in there with your daughter. It gets better again...eventually. ;)
Wow! Congratulations on the high score! I think you should really consider taking some nursing courses. You are such a kind hearted person....you'd make a wonderful nurse.
It was really nice reading through post...thanks for sharing all these with us...and as Easter is round the corner also visit my blog on Easter Wishes and Greetings sometime and check out all that i've posted there!!!
Brandy, that's so great about your mark. You deserve to be proud. Way to go. : )
If I remember wayyyy back, being a teenage girl is tough. Sometimes I didn't even know why I did what I did. I still have 2 teenage girls at home so I know it's hard being a mom of them, too. Just try real hard not to take things personally. That's a tough one. She'll be fine, I'm sure of it. She's a good kid. She'll figure it out. hugs to you.
Your zoo is so adorable. Thanks for posting the pics.
(Today I sent out the squares. Let me know when you get them, k.)
Take care.
Congratulations on your score! Way to go!!
Congrats on your test! We always knew you were a smart cookie!
Ditto what Kare said on the teenage thing. It's tough on everyone. Yesterday I had to tell my daughter that I didn't want to hear any of her petulant teenage lip. Gah! They're trying to be independent but don't have the know-how yet. They still need guidance and limits. It's kind of like the toddler thing all over again but with a much bigger attitude. Hang in there, Brandy! {hugs}
Oh my you have been so busy lately. I'm sorry you are having a rough time with some things, everything will look up soon. I hope you got some nice stuff when going yarn shopping.
Andrea
